Walter Elias Disney or better known to most as “Walt Disney” was born on the 5th of December 1901 at Chicago, Illinois, USA. His parents are Elias Disney who is an Irish-Canadian and Flora Call Disney, a German-American descent. He was among the five offspring which composed of four boys and an only girl. Since he was just a boy, he has always been fond of drawing and sketching. Even before at the age of seven, he had tried selling his works to his neighbors.

Walt enrolled High School at McKinley wherein he pays much of his attention in his photography and drawing skills. On the year 1918, when he was just about 16 years old, he tried to enroll himself to a military service, but was turned down because he is still too young to join the force. So he decided to become part of the Red Cross wherein he was sent overseas.

He had worked as a driver of an ambulance for about a year. His ambulance is not just another typical one, instead of having stock camouflage; his was covered with cartoons and drawings. Just after the war had ended, Walt immediately returned to Kansas and had started his drawing career. He had allocated much of his time mastering the art of drawing in which sooner he had perfected his practices in mixing both the animation and live-action.

On the 13th of July 1925, Walt married one of his employees, Lillian Bounds. They have been blessed with two lovely daughters Dianne and Sharon. In the year 1928, his success started as the Mickey Mouse cartoon first shown in the public. It all started as a silent cartoon and then eventually he made progress that had associated with colors and sound. Walt had made numerous cartoons such Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; Pinocchio; Fantasia; Dumbo and Bambi.

Continuing at the road of progress follows continuous success in his chosen field. He had earned a whole lot amount of money which later on led him to building massive amusement areas wherein more or less 250 million were entertained including presidents, royalties and all types of people. He had also earned countless awards for his excellence and perseverance in continuing to make people laugh and have fun. Walt Disney died on the 15th of December 1966. And up until now, the field he has started was continued by his daughters and it has continued to amuse people of all ages.
